Non-Executives recruited in year 2007 & 2008 are facing less salary after wage-revision. Same case happened in Govt. of Tamilnadu in last wage-revision then they issued an order to provide fitment to all employees recruited before issuing of new wage-revision order. court case:The ITS repatriation case
came for hearing in the Hon'ble High Court, Delhi in Court No.- 4 today
but Hon'ble Court transferred back the case to old Court no. 4 for hearing on
08th Feb.,2013.
01-02-13 : 30% Fitment Court Case
Update: Today the case was heard at
Hon'ble CAT Chandigarh. BSNL Counsel was having some personal difficulty in
attending the court, so the case was posted for next hearing. Next date of
hearing is 15th March 2013.
01-02-13 : Designation
Change : A meeting of the Committee for Change of Designation
of Non-executives was held on 30-01-13.The Committee unanimously agreed on the
new designations for the two cadres viz. RM and TM. The new designations agreed
to by the official and staff side representatives are Telecom Assistant for
Regular Mazdoor and Telecom Technician for Telecom Mechanic.For the cadres of
Sr.TOA and TTA, the designations demanded by the union representatives were not
agreed to by the official side. Hence the discussion for change of designations
for Sr.TOA, TTA and other cadres will continue.
22-01-13 : Hon'ble Chandigarh High Court Contempt Case Update: Today the case was heard at Hon'ble High Court Chandigarh. After arguments, the case was posted for next hearing. Next date of hearing is 6th May 2013.

Meeting with Director (HR) on TTA LDCE and Wage Reduction issue
Com. P. Abhimanyu, GS and Com. Swapan Chakraborthy, AGS met Director (HR) yesterday the 14.01.2013 and discussed the following issues:-
(a) Promptly conducting JTO LDCE
The union representatives pointed out that BSNL CO has not notified the time schedule for holding the JTO LDCE even after clearance was given by the Kerala High Court two months ago. They urged upon the Director (HR) to hold the exam immediately.
(b) Settle the wage reduction problem of the post 01.01.2007 appointees
The union representatives urged upon the Director (HR) to immediately resolve the wage reduction problem of the post 01.01.2007 appointed Non-Executives, by granting advance increments, as has been done in the case of JTOs and JAOs.
Director (HR) responded by stating that both the issues would be sympathetically looked into.

Anadaram and ADS Sh.Chandra Prakash Meena of Nagur SSA, Rajasthan Circle went to RPFC(II) EPFO,Jodhpur for EPF loss of 2007 employees .The EPFO officer assured that if personal pay was given and on that EPF was not deducted then he will investigate about it and send inspector at our ssa(nagaur) about it and will instruct our employer for deposit remaining epf amount to epfo jodhpur otherwise our employer will face inquiry of EPFO.

07-11-12 : ITS Repatriation-Court order:- Hon’ble Court finally directed Govt. to repatriate non-optee ITS from BSNL/MTNL upto 15th Dec’2012. In case, they are not relieved, Govt. should submit a concrete proposal/plan upto 15-12-2012 explaining that in what reasonable time they can be relieved. The case is re-notified on 18th Dec’2012
31-10-12 : 30% Fitment Court Case Update: Today the case was posted at s.n. 83 but cases upto s.n. 81 could only be heard till the closing of court. Next date of Hearing is 11th Dec 2012.

28-08-12 : BSNL board in it's meeting on 28-8-12 has approved 78.2% IDA fitment benefit to BSNL employees.Also NE 12 pay scale and recruitment of 2670 outside TTA's is approved in this meeting. The issue of 78.2 % IDA fitment will now be sent to DOT for approval.

The Customers will continue to dial the present access code, i.e. 172222 (For PSTN Access) or 172223 (For ISDN Access). Please use the user name netone@netone.in and password as netone only. No separate username and password is required for each customer. Billing will be done on the basis of Phone Number.
12-08-12 : The meeting of the Joint committee for change of designations of Non-Executive employees was held on 09-08-12. As per sources, the management is against granting the designations with Officer, Engineer etc. The next meeting will be held on 24th August.
08-08-12 : BSNL has decided that fancy numbers may be given free of cost to " Post-paid Customers" of Plan 325 or higher. If a subscriber changes his number to Pre-paid or in case of MNP request by the subscriber Rs 700 needs to be deposited.
08-08-012 : BSNL has revised the tariff of Roam Free plan voucher from Rs 150 to Rs 49 w.e.f. 08-08-12. Roam Free plan voucher with no free bees and validity of 90 days.
08-08-12 : In his Independence Day speech, Prime Minister Sh. Manmohan Singh is likely to announce a scheme to ensure at least one cellphone for each BPL household in the country, with 200 minutes of local calls free. This will be around 60 lakhs mobile connections in the country to BPL families and would cost around Rs. 7000 crores to the govt.

[12.04.2012] Pay Anomaly of Post 2007 Non-Executives – Why Recognised Union Leaders demands solution from Management ?
(Taken from the Minutes of the 26th meeting of the National Council held on 27th February, 2012)
7. With the permission of chair, Mr. P. Asoka Babu, Member Staff side mentioned in the last National Council meeting held in June 2011, the Staff side was informed that any proposal for grant of 5 increments to executives appointed in pre-revised E1-A pay scale after 1.1.2007, if any, under consideration of the Committee, is notknown to the management, but after some the management has issued orders for grant of 5 increments to executives appointed in pre-revised E1A pay scale after 1.1.2007. For non-executives also, similarly there are anomalies to be settled and in fact one committee was constitued, butnothing has come out. The Staff side therefore demands anomalies of non-executives appointed after 1.1.2007 may be settled otherwise the employees will have a feeling that the management is favouring the executives. Since this is a heart-burning issues, it needs to be settled immediately.
